Photo Disclosure Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The body has many thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "at once disturbing and everyday," its press release on Thursday explained.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York prison in 2019 while facing trial on charges of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property submitted to the panel are separate from what is often termed "the Epstein documents". That material are documents under the justice department's possession connected to its separate inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which the President made law recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to publish its files. The extent of the contents included in the DOJ's files is unknown, and it's expected that much of the content will be heavily censored, comparable to Congressional releases
