Star Refutes Anti-Vax Stance After Narrating Controversial Pandemic Feature

The "Taken" star has given his voice to a recent film that casts doubt on the legitimacy of immunizations and lauds one-time cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Documentary's Disputed Origins

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the film is adapted from a well-known publication written by a controversial scientist, who became famous during the health crisis for claims that Covid was caused by a problematic version of the seasonal immunization.

The book's writing partner, the executive producer, has also written books with conspiracy-prone figure Alex Jones. The producer recently posted praising Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Strong Denial

The team of Liam Neeson have issued a response pushing back against claims that he subscribes to anti-vax sentiments.

"Many recognize that misconduct may occur within the drug industry, but that cannot be confused with opposition to vaccines," the comment reads. "Liam is not, and is not, anti-vaccination. His extensive work with the UN children's agency highlights his long-held support for public-health initiatives."

It added that the performer did not shape the documentary's editorial content and that inquiries about its assertions should be directed to the creators.

Key Claims Featured in the Feature

According to the documentary, the narration spoken by Neeson includes several strong claims:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "medical science has become highly politicized."
  • Kennedy is interviewed saying, "The core flaw with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • It takes aim at stay-at-home orders, saying they caused psychological harm that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • Regarding Covid vaccines, it mentions a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "dangerous experiments."

Previous Controversy and Ongoing Issues

It includes a 2004 BBC documentary about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the subject of a correction by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

In recent weeks, Kennedy directed the national health agency to alter its official position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This assertion is also referenced in the film, despite a fresh analysis from the WHO stating no such link has been found.

An Earlier Statement of Support

Contrasting the film's message, Neeson has formerly expressed firm endorsement for vaccines in his role as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary triumph," stating that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in human history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's narration stating, "This isn't the end of our narrative. It is the beginning of a different phase."
